Jennifer is a registered clinical counsellor and a humanitarian. She is Director of Van Wyck consulting which integrates energy work, quantum physics, emotions and visualizations to create deep and lasting change for people who are highly sensitive empaths, humanitarians, or are struggling with depression or anxiety. She has had worked with high profile clients as well as those who are struggling in the most difficult places in the world. When there are emergencies she is often deployed to set up mental health programs or programs specifically focused on supporting women and children who have been abused, training, managing and supervising teams of up to 800 people. She has worked in natural disasters, such as the Haiti earthquake in 2010, in epidemics, such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, where she received a medal of honour from the Canadian government for her work, as well as war zones such as in Syria, assisting women and children who had been under Islamic State (ISIS) rule. She herself is a highly sensitive empath and so understands the difficulties that being sensitive can have but she is passionate about teaching people how to use sensitivity as the gift it truly is and credits her sensitivity for allowing her to get to the root of what people are struggling with, and helping them to heal. She has helped hundreds of people overcome trauma and truly believes in the resiliency and strength of the human spirit. Her book on how to choose love over fear came out September 1, 2020.
